Privacy Policy & Data Governance
Fullion Precision Manufacturing operates with strict corporate integrity, transparent data protection, and enterprise confidentiality. This policy outlines our protocols for collecting, storing, processing, and safeguarding your corporate information, engineering files, and personal data.
1. Corporate Entity & Scope of Policy
This Privacy Policy applies to Fullion Precision Manufacturing (“Fullion”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), including our corporate headquarters in Hong Kong and manufacturing operations in mainland China. Our official website is https://fullion.com .
We act as the Data Controller under international data privacy frameworks, including the General Data Protection Regulation (EU GDPR Regulation 2016/679), the UK Data Protection Act 2018, and California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). This policy governs all personal data collected through web forms, email correspondence, CAD quotation portals, and client consultations.
2. Information We Collect and How We Collect It
We collect information strictly for legitimate commercial purposes in contract manufacturing, prototyping, quality compliance, and logistical fulfillment:
- Directly Provided Information: When you submit a Request for Quotation (RFQ), request engineering feasibility reviews, or subscribe to technical whitepapers, we collect your name, corporate email address, phone number, company name, delivery country, and technical project parameters.
- Proprietary Engineering & Design Assets: 2D blueprints, 3D CAD files (STEP, IGES, SLDPRT), visual renders, and bill-of-materials submitted for tooling audits and quotation analysis.
- Automated Website Analytics: Technical metadata including IP address, browser user-agent string, device type, geographic location, and interaction logs collected via server logs to prevent spam and optimize website performance.
- Communications Records: Records of email correspondence, quotation negotiations, sample review feedback, and video conference transcripts.
3. Intellectual Property (IP) Protection & NDA Protocol
Fullion recognizes that CAD drawings and product specifications represent mission-critical business assets. We maintain an institutional zero-leakage security framework:
Bilateral Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs)
We routinely execute enforceable bilateral NDAs prior to receiving proprietary design files. All CAD files, 3D prototypes, and custom tooling molds remain the 100% exclusive intellectual property of the client. They are never published, shared with third parties, displayed at exhibitions, or repurposed without explicit written consent.
Engineering files are stored on secure, access-controlled internal servers with enterprise-grade encryption. Access is restricted strictly to authorized mechanical engineers and tooling technicians directly assigned to your project.
4. Purpose of Data Processing & Retention Periods
We process personal and corporate data exclusively under the following legal bases:
- Contract Performance: To produce sample prototypes, process manufacturing orders, deliver customs clearances, and provide warranty support.
- Legitimate Interests: To improve our engineering capabilities, verify component traceability, and prevent fraudulent inquiries.
- Legal Compliance: To satisfy tax accounting, cross-border export customs documentation, and international trade compliance mandates.
We retain commercial records for the duration of the manufacturing agreement plus 7 years to satisfy statutory tax and commercial compliance obligations. Technical CAD files for inactive quotation inquiries are archived or permanently erased upon verified client request.
5. Third-Party Data Sharing & International Transfers
Fullion does not sell, rent, or trade your personal or corporate data under any circumstances. Data is shared strictly with vetted operational partners essential to order fulfillment:
- Accredited Metrology Labs: Third-party metallurgy inspection centers (e.g., SGS, RoHS assay testing) to verify material composition certificates.
- International Freight Carriers: Express air and sea logistics providers (e.g., DHL, FedEx, freight forwarders) for shipping quotes, customs documentation, and physical package tracking.
- Secure Payment Processors: Licensed international banking institutions and escrow processors for payment settlements.
6. Your Rights Under GDPR & International Law
Under European Union and international privacy regulations, you possess full legal rights concerning your personal data:
- Right of Access: Request a copy of the personal information we hold concerning you.
- Right to Rectification: Request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data.
- Right to Erasure (“Right to be Forgotten”): Request deletion of your personal records where legal retention obligations permit.
- Right to Restrict Processing: Request suspension of specific processing activities.
- Right to Data Portability: Obtain your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
To exercise any of these rights, contact our Data Protection Officer at [email protected] or through our official contact portal. We respond to all verified requests within 30 calendar days.
