Precision Production Workflow

From technical CAD validation to cleanroom quality inspection, our engineering workflow ensures strict repeatability.

PHASE 01

Engineering DFM & Blueprints

Our engineers inspect your 3D CAD files or physical reference parts to optimize toolpaths, clamping datums, and tolerance stack-ups. Comprehensive 2D manufacturing blueprints are delivered for review.

PHASE 02

Master Prototyping & CMM Audit

First-article pilot samples are machined on 5-axis equipment and routed directly to the metrology lab. Every critical datum, gasket seat, and thread pitch is measured using 3D CMM coordinate probes.

PHASE 03

Batch Machining & Artisanal Finishing

Batch manufacturing utilizes multi-axis Japanese CNC equipment, robotic surface buffing, and master hand-applied satin graining. Components undergo strict optical inspection before movement casing.

PHASE 04

Class 10,000 Cleanroom Assembly & QC

All watch casing and critical sub-assembly takes place in ISO 14644 Class 10,000 cleanrooms to eliminate airborne dust. Every completed piece passes 48-hour mechanical timing and dual pressure tests.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common technical and commercial questions regarding our machinery capabilities, materials, and contract manufacturing standards.

Why is PVD coating superior to conventional electroplating?

Electroplating relies on chemical dipping that can flake or wear off within months. PVD deposits vaporized ions in a vacuum at high kinetic energy, forming a molecular bond that lasts for years.

Does PVD plating alter the dimensional tolerances of parts?

PVD film thickness is microscopic (typically 1.0 to 1.5 µm), which will not affect fine screw threads, gasket compressions, or bezel click fitments.

How do you test PVD adhesion and scratch resistance?

We perform ASTM D3359 cross-hatch tape peel tests, pencil hardness audits up to 9H, and 72-hour artificial sweat immersion to ensure zero delamination.

Can existing scratched PVD coatings be removed and recoated?

Yes. We operate chemical stripping baths that safely remove PVD layers without attacking the underlying 316L stainless steel substrate, allowing clean re-coating.
